Classroom Evacuation for STUDENTS

Classroom Evacuation for FACULTY AND TEACHING STAFF

  • For evacuation in your classroom or building:

            Building Evacuation

1. Close office doors and turn off lights.

            Lockdown Instructions:

If YOU ARE OUTSIDE a building in lockdown:
            1. DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. 离开被封锁的大楼越远越好.

            4. DO NOT CALL THE LOCATION THAT IS IN LOCKDOWN. Phone calls to anyone inside the building that
            is in lockdown may endanger them.

If the THREAT IS OUTSIDE your building:

If the THREAT IS INSIDE your building:

CALL 911 WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO

• Do not huddle together, as it makes one easy target. Spread out.

FIGHT

• As a last resort, when running and hiding are not an option, fight when your life is in imminent danger

            Shelter-in-Place Instructions:
For weather:
            1. Go to the lowest level of the building if possible.
            2. Stay away from the windows.
            3. Go to interior hallways and rooms.

WHEN CALLING 911:

• Don’t assume someone else is calling 911.
